THE SCIENCE
Every humidity reading you take is only as good as the hygrometer taking it. A calibration kit gives the instrument a known 75% RH reference so you can correct it — or find out it was lying to you.
THE SETUP
One step. Seal the hygrometer and the pack together, wait, then read and adjust. Calibrate a new digital hygrometer or humidity sensor before you use it, then re-calibrate every six months.
THE RITUAL
The cheapest insurance in the humidor. A dial reading 68% when the box is at 58% costs you a whole collection slowly, and quietly.
SPECIFICATIONS
• One-step calibration at 75% RH • For digital hygrometers and humidity sensors • Re-calibrate every six months • Hygrometer not included
WHO THIS IS FOR
• Anyone who has just bought a hygrometer • Owners of a humidor that reads oddly • People who trust instruments only after checking them
