BC VQA Okanagan Valley
Tasting Note: A structured yet approachable Okanagan Cabernet Franc showing ripe fruit generosity with polished spice and freshness. Juicy plum and black cherry are framed by cedar, vanilla and lively acidity, giving this wine both immediate appeal and short-term cellaring potential. A versatile red for grilling season through autumn.
Food Pairing: Exceptional pairings with charred, rich, and moderately sweet dishes. Its natural freshness complements a roasted red pepper bruschetta and balances the rich, smoky flavors of BBQ chicken with plum glaze. For hearty courses, its tannins are softened by nutty, aged cheeses and its structure matches the weight of grilled eggplant with lentils, finishing with a black cherry clafoutis that connects neatly with the wine's fruit profile.
