Dad's Hat is one of the leading voices in the Pennsylvania rye revival — a style that dominated American whiskey before Prohibition and is now being reclaimed by a new generation of distillers. Based in Bristol, Pennsylvania, Dad's Hat uses a high-rye mash bill and traditional Pennsylvania distilling methods to produce ryes with genuine regional character.
The Maple Cask expression takes their classic Pennsylvania straight rye and finishes it in maple syrup casks, adding a layer of natural sweetness that complements the grain's inherent spice. The result is a rye that's approachable, complex, and distinctly Pennsylvania.
