The E.P. Carrillo Essence Sumatra Toro was created to showcase just how much influence a wrapper leaf has on a cigar's character. Featuring an Ecuador Sumatra wrapper over a unique combination of Nicaraguan and Honduran binders with Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers, it delivers a balanced medium-bodied experience that's rich in flavour without overwhelming strength.
Expect notes of earth, cedar, cocoa, gentle floral sweetness, and subtle spice, all wrapped in a smooth, refined profile that develops beautifully throughout the smoke.
Fog & Flame Notes: Don't let the darker wrapper fool you—this isn't a heavy, full-bodied cigar. If you've been curious about darker-looking cigars but aren't ready for bold nicotine or overpowering strength, the Essence Sumatra is an excellent next step. It offers richness and complexity while remaining smooth, balanced, and approachable.
