Privada Storytelling
HVC Cerro Natural is where it all began. Named after Reinier Lorenzo’s hometown neighborhood in Havana, Cerro was his first bold step into the boutique spotlight. With a classic Cuban sensibility and the raw power of Nicaraguan tobacco, this cigar pays tribute to home without clinging to nostalgia. It burns with the vibrancy of Jalapa-grown Corojo 99, revealing layer after layer of rich, grounded character. In Privada, this cigar represents roots. Not hype, not polish—just honesty and hunger. This is the cigar that whispered, “I’m here,” and now speaks with the authority of a boutique staple.
Flavor Journey
-
First third: Opens with cedar and red pepper. A subtle sweetness of caramel and toasted almond creeps in beneath the spice.
-
Mid-smoke: Flavor rounds out into earth, dried hay, and a warm baking spice. Retrohale brightens with citrus zest and peppery lift.
-
Final third: Earth and wood deepen. Spice mellows. A clean, dry finish marked by light leather and lingering toast.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Cerro Natural isn’t just a cigar—it’s a story of emergence. It’s a debut that still holds up because it was built with intention. In Privada, we honor cigars that launched legacies, and this one helped define HVC’s voice in the boutique world. It’s Nicaraguan to the core, Cuban in spirit, and crafted for the purist. It proves that first impressions—when done right—can last forever.
