Most modern cigar smokers may not recognize the name Sarzedas, but for those who know their cigar history, it carries serious weight. First introduced by J.C. Newman in 1900, Sarzedas was once celebrated as “The Aromatic Cigar.” More than a century later, this classic returns—refined, elegant, and built for today’s palate.
The J.C. Newman Sarzedas is wrapped in a silky Ecuadorian Shade wrapper that feels almost liquid in the hand. Beneath it, a carefully balanced blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos creates a slow, aromatic burn with remarkable consistency. Each draw delivers a gentle sweetness, growing richness, and a warm, inviting finish that encourages you to slow down and savor the moment.
This is not a relic revived for nostalgia alone. Sarzedas respects its origins while offering a flavor profile that feels modern, composed, and effortlessly smooth. From presentation to performance, it reflects the timeless craftsmanship J.C. Newman is known for—proof that true quality never goes out of style.
Whether you’re revisiting a classic or discovering it for the first time, Sarzedas is a living piece of cigar history, meant to be enjoyed, not just remembered.
