Privada Storytelling
The Central Florida cigar scene is tight-knit, and if you’ve spent any time around it, you’ve likely crossed paths with Scott, the man behind Jefe Cigars. His reputation runs deeper than just blending—he’s one of the few in the industry willing to take on the nearly impossible job of insuring cigars. Cigars are flammable, fragile, and sensitive to climate, making insurance almost unattainable. Yet Scott found a way, carving out his place in the community not only as a businessman but as a local character at every festival and shop.
The Jefe PCC Aged 1.5+ Years is his quiet masterpiece. Rolled in Nicaragua at a factory he keeps close to the chest, the blend remains shrouded in mystery. But what matters most is in the smoke: a flavor profile so vibrant it feels alive, carrying the depth of aging and the richness of tropical sweetness. Some cigars you respect. This one you fall in love with.
Flavor Journey
-
First Third: A balanced start of honey, cedar, hay, and black pepper carried by creamy smoke. The retrohale introduces vanilla sweetness, with wood and spice building in harmony.
-
Second Third: Flavors evolve into juicy, tropical fruit notes—think guava and mango—blending seamlessly with cedar and cream. The smoke takes on a dreamlike sweetness balanced by a touch of spice.
-
Final Third: The cigar crescendos with the warmth of cinnamon apple pie filling, baker’s spices, and intensified cedar. Creamy smoke softens the boldness, leaving a rich, satisfying finish.
