“CECI NE PAS UN RUM COLA"
A drink that pours the colour of cola, smells like banana and butterscotch, and yet has no sugar and a mild flavour. This is basically an aromatized soda water with a deceptive colour and intriguing flavour.
This is a wild one, from the one-man-show that is Valley Cider / Modern Soda on Vancouver Island. Ever the flavour experimenter, this one really made us chuckle.
About the maker:
Modern Soda is a non-alcoholic drinks line by artisan cider maker Valley Cider Co based in British Columbia's beautiful Cowichan Valley. ‘Modern Sparkle’ is yet another subset of this non-alcoholic soda project, and sees the cidermaker diverge from apple altogether, exploring the possibilities in flavouring soda water.
