The Montecristo 90th Anniversary Nacional is a limited-edition celebration of one of the most storied names in premium cigars. Handcrafted in Nicaragua by the legendary Plasencia family, this commemorative release honors nine decades of Montecristo excellence with an all-Nicaraguan puro built entirely from aged tobaccos sourced from the country’s most revered growing regions.
Wrapped in a silky Jalapa-grown Nicaraguan leaf over Nicaraguan binder and fillers, this medium-bodied 5.5×56 vitola delivers a refined and evolving profile. Expect rich notes of coffee, dark cocoa, roasted nuts, cedar, and a restrained spice that broadens beautifully with the thicker ring gauge. The finish is balanced, smooth, and sophisticated, showcasing the elegance that has defined Montecristo since the 1930s.
Presented in luxurious 12-count piano-finish boxes, the 90th Anniversary Nacional is produced in limited quantities and stands as a collector’s piece celebrating Montecristo’s past, present, and future.
