Montecristo emerged in 1935 during the golden era of Cuban cigars, its name inspired by Alexandre Dumas’ novel, The Count of Monte Cristo. Quickly embraced by literary icons like Ernest Hemingway, mid-century Hollywood celebrities, and discerning connoisseurs, the brand became a symbol of luxury and exquisite balance. In 2017, Habanos S.A. paid homage to this legacy with the Línea 1935, an elegant contemporary rendition featuring tobacco aged at least five years, delivering a richer, more intricate flavor profile across three distinct vitolas. Revered for limited production, exceptional ratings, and remarkable aging potential, this collection offers an evolving experience of refinement and craftsmanship for the sophisticated.
