Privada Storytelling
Patience is the currency of greatness. The Narcos RL Aged 3+ Years is proof. Conceived by two ambitious young men from the Dominican Republic—the same duo who gave us Capos and Burnot—this cigar represents the fire of a new generation rising to reclaim the Dominican Republic’s rightful place in the world of premium cigars.
Originally aged for two full years at the factory, these cigars then endured an additional three years of Privada’s signature post-production rest. The result is a smoking experience that feels mature yet vibrant, like an old soul in a youthful body. In an industry often plagued by rushed releases, Narcos RL is a bold declaration: quality is worth waiting for.
Flavor Journey
-
First Third: Opens with fresh-cut cedar and molasses, layered with honey glaze and citrus zest. A wave of charcoal smoke sharpens the edges, giving it both depth and brightness.
-
Second Third: The orange note transforms into something softer, almost like whipped cream with a kiss of red pepper. Charred woods and floral hints weave into powdery plumes, with a white pepper retrohale adding balance.
-
Final Third: Smoke smooths out into warm cinnamon and florals, supported by citrus zest that lingers from start to finish. A musty wood and soy sauce note anchors the final moments with depth and contrast.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Narcos RL isn’t just a cigar—it’s a manifesto. It tells the story of two Dominican blenders who refuse to let tradition fade, who work tirelessly to elevate their country’s tobacco heritage to the highest echelon. It belongs in Privada because it embodies our mission: to showcase passion, innovation, and craft from voices that will shape the future of cigars.
