Peterson Donegal Rocky #B10 | Irish Briar Bent Calabash | Fishtail
The Donegal Rocky is Peterson's original rusticated line, debuting in 1945, and its craggy two-toned dark red and black stain has been synonymous with the Peterson rusticated aesthetic ever since. The B10 is described as a Calabash variation, blending the softly convex rim of a bent Dublin with the rounded silhouette of a Calabash for a shape that feels both substantial and elegant in the hand. Measuring 5.77 inches and weighing in at a comfortable 1.81 oz, it features a wide ornamental nickel band at the shank and a glossy black fishtail mouthpiece that contrasts beautifully against the deep, dark rusticated bowl.
Handcrafted from high-quality Irish briar and finished with Peterson's signature coarse rustication, the Donegal Rocky B10 is as practical as it is distinctive. The rusticated surface keeps the bowl cooler during long sessions and provides a natural grip, while the fishtail stem delivers a comfortable, bite-friendly draw. Rough and unaffected in character, like the wild county of Donegal it takes its name from, this is a pipe that is built to last and smoke beautifully from the very first bowl.
