The Rojas Breakfast Tacos Maduro is a compact but richly flavoured 4½" × 50 Petit Salomon handcrafted in Estelí, Nicaragua. A dark Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper surrounds Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, delivering a medium-to-full-bodied smoke with the depth and character of a much larger cigar. Its distinctive tapered head and foot give this little Maduro an elegant, almost playful appearance, while the blend offers a satisfying combination of earthy richness, coffee, cocoa and spice.
The experience begins with creamy smoke, dark earth and toasted wood, developing notes of espresso, roasted nuts and a touch of natural tobacco sweetness. Black pepper adds a lively edge, while the San Andrés wrapper contributes a deep, chocolatey character. It's a flavourful, satisfying smoke that fits comfortably into a shorter break.
Fog & Flame Notes: Noel Rojas is sometimes called the King of Small Ring Gauges, and the Breakfast Tacos are a fine example of his craftsmanship. This little Salomon packs plenty of rich Maduro flavour into a shorter smoking experience, perfect for when time is limited but you still want something worth savouring. We were particularly impressed by the clean tobacco character, with the flavours coming through beautifully and without a lingering heaviness. Add the unusual shape, handsome dark wrapper and playful name, and you've got a little cigar with plenty of personality.
