In Montalcino, Sangiovese Grosso, known as Brunello locally, is a reason for celebration. This wine represents the most profound and exquisite expression of the region, harmonizing robust body with unmatched finesse. Ruffino's Brunello DOCG embodies their centuries-old winemaking wisdom and meticulous craftsmanship from vineyard to bottle. Tenute Ruffino
A deep ruby red, with garnet highlights. A complex series of aromas that range from dog rose to plant and freshly baked cakes. Slight spices ensue as well as a complicated bouquet midway between quinine and citrus fruit. The tannic structure is a prelude to the unyielding yet elegant palate, formidable and enduring.
