The Bitter Truth Old Time Aromatic Bitters (200 mL) are concentrated cocktail bitters made in Germany in the classic aromatic style. The formula brings together cinnamon, cardamom, anise, and clove, creating a structured spice profile suited to traditional spirit-forward drinks.
The palate is bitter and tangy, while the aroma recalls gingerbread with layered fruit notes behind the warming spices. The producer describes these bitters as adding structure and complexity when mixed with wood-aged spirits, making the profile useful wherever measured spice and aromatic lift are needed. Aromatic bitters remain foundational to classic cocktail recipes today.
Add a few controlled dashes to a Manhattan, Old Fashioned, punch, or another whiskey-based cocktail. The compact bottle’s dasher-style closure supports precise application for home or professional bars. This listing is for one 200 mL bottle at 39% ABV / 78 proof, presented as cocktail flavoring.
