Drew Estate pushes the Undercrown line in a new direction with Undercrown El Tigre Dominicano, a blend that leans heavily into Dominican character while maintaining the brand’s signature depth and construction.
At the core, this cigar is built around Dominican HVA and C-98 fillers, delivering balance, structure, and a layered aromatic profile. Those internals are supported by a Connecticut Corojo H99 hybrid binder and finished with an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper, creating a profile that sits firmly in the medium-to-full range.
The experience is deliberate. White pepper and espresso hit early through the retrohale, while earthy undertones anchor the profile and carry it through the finish. It’s not a loud cigar. It’s controlled, evolving, and built around transitions rather than raw strength.
Though rolled at La Gran Fábrica in Nicaragua, El Tigre is clearly designed to showcase Dominican influence in a filler-forward format. The result is a more nuanced take on Undercrown. Less blunt force, more refinement.
Available Sizes (Box-Pressed):
- Corona Viva (5 3/4 x 46)
- Robusto (5 x 50)
- Toro (6 x 50)
This is Undercrown with a different intent. More precision. More evolution. Less predictable.
