Vergano Americano Rosso is a wine-based aperitif handcrafted by chemist Mauro Vergano in Piedmont, Italy. Utilizing a vibrant base of organic, unfiltered Grignolino red wine from the Cascina Tavijn estate, this 16% ABV aperitif is fortified and infused with a selection of botanicals, including wormwood, gentian, and citrus peel. It pours a striking bright cherry red and delivers a complex, dry, and delicately bitter profile where juicy red fruit notes are beautifully balanced by an earthy, herbal bitterness and subtle undertones of warm baking spices. Elegant and versatile, it shines brilliantly when served on the rocks with a splash of club soda and a fresh slice of blood orange, and it serves as a sophisticated alternative to sweet vermouth in classic cocktails like the Negroni or Manhattan.
