The Warped Serie Gran Reserva 1988 is a beautifully crafted 5¼" × 50 Robusto that showcases the refined, Cuban-inspired blending style for which Warped Cigars has earned such a devoted following. Created by Kyle Gellis, the Gran Reserva 1988 offers a richly nuanced smoking experience built around balance, aromatic complexity and the natural character of its tobaccos. Its classic Robusto proportions make it an inviting choice for enthusiasts who appreciate a sophisticated smoking experience with plenty of character.
The profile combines cinnamon, molasses, stone fruit and coffee with creamy sweetness, toasted nuts and baking spice.
Fog & Flame Notes: The cigar is a Nicaraguan puro, made at TABSA (Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A.) using a shade-grown Jalapa Corojo ’99 wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and Corojo ’99 and Criollo ’98 fillers. The result is one of Warped's most celebrated cigars, earning 95 points and the #3 spot on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 Cigars of 2019. For anyone curious about why Warped has developed such a loyal following, the Gran Reserva 1988 is an excellent place to start.
